Epitalon — 25mg

Longevity & Cellular-Aging Research Peptide

Epitalon, also known as Epithalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of four amino acids: Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG). It was developed from research involving pineal-gland peptides and has become a prominent compound in longevity and cellular-aging research.

Epitalon has attracted particular interest because of research investigating its relationship with telomerase activity, telomere maintenance, cellular aging, and pineal function.

The Science Behind Epitalon

One of the primary research areas surrounding Epitalon is its potential influence on telomerase and telomere biology. Telomeres are protective DNA structures at the ends of chromosomes that generally shorten as cells divide.

A 2025 study using human cell cultures found that Epitalon increased telomere length in normal epithelial and fibroblast cells and was associated with increased hTERT expression and telomerase activity. Importantly, this was an in-vitro study, not a clinical trial in humans.

Key Research Areas

  • Telomere maintenance
  • Telomerase signaling
  • Cellular aging and senescence
  • Pineal-gland biology
  • Longevity research
  • Cellular regeneration
  • Oxidative-stress research
  • Neuroendocrine signaling

Epitalon has also been investigated in research involving melatonin and pineal function, cellular differentiation, and age-related biological processes.

Why Researchers Are Interested

The central research hypothesis surrounding Epitalon is its potential relationship with the biological mechanisms associated with cellular aging:

Epitalon → Telomerase Signaling → Telomere Maintenance → Cellular Longevity Research

This makes Epitalon particularly interesting for researchers studying healthy aging, cellular senescence, genomic stability, and longevity biology.

An Important Distinction

Epitalon is frequently marketed as an “anti-aging” or “life-extension” compound, but the current evidence does notestablish that Epitalon extends human lifespan or reverses aging.

The strongest recent evidence demonstrating telomere effects comes from human cells studied in laboratory conditions, while clinical evidence in living humans remains very limited. There are also no established FDA-approved indications or standardized human dosing guidelines for Epitalon.

Research Use Only

This product is supplied for laboratory and research purposes only. Epitalon is not FDA-approved and is not intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease or medical condition.
